- Must be an international student
- Must have applied for but not yet commenced a single undergraduate coursework degree
- Must enroll in their eligible degree full-time
- Must not be commencing a second degree at the University of Sydney
- Must have completed secondary school or a foundation program in Australia or from a recognized foundation partner
- Must not have previously undertaken any tertiary studies (excluding extension studies completed as part of a year 12 program)
Furthermore, to maintain the scholarship, recipients must:
- Maintain a minimum Semester Average Mark (SAM) of 65 each semester.
- Have no outstanding fees.
- Complete their degree within the published full-time duration.
