There are “win-win” outcomes from adapting to the effects of climate change for human security, livelihoods, food security, water supply, health, and economic growth. The GCA’s work increases the political significance and visibility of climate adaptation while facilitating solutions including more prudent investment decisions, innovative technology, and improved planning to increase one’s resistance to hazards associated with climate change.

- Master’s or bachelor’s degree in international relations, politics, economics, media, pertinent sciences, or a closely related field.

- Proficiency in French is advantageous; fluency in English is required.

What is the Benefit of the Global Center on Adaptation (GCA) Internships 2024?
The internship is based at the GCA headquarters in Rotterdam and lasts for six months, with the start date being negotiable. There is some flexibility offered in terms of working hours and location. To work in the EU, applicants must possess the necessary work visa. GCA provides a public transport travel card for commuters and a monthly compensation of €500.
