Who can Apply for the Mary Gates Leadership Scholarship?

Applicants must meet the following eligibility criteria:

• Enrollment: Must be a matriculated full-time UW undergraduate student pursuing a bachelor’s degree at UW Bothell, Seattle, or Tacoma campus.
• Full-Time Status: Must remain a full-time undergraduate student during the award period (minimum of 12 credits during the year, one credit during the summer quarter).
• Previous Awards: Students who have received the same type of Mary Gates scholarship twice are not eligible to apply for a third award of that type. A maximum of three Mary Gates Scholarships (Research and Leadership combined) can be received.
• Additional Funding: If you have other scholarships or stipends supporting your leadership activity, you may not be eligible to receive the full amount of this award.

• Application Deadline: Monday, October 28, 2024, at 5:00 PM.
• Letter of Recommendation Deadline: Wednesday, October 30, 2024, at 5:00 PM.
