The Ajibika Leadership Program is designed to provide essential skills to the Kenyan youth with key leadership skills in governance and social accountability. This 6-month comprehensive program will immerse you in a rigorous learning of governmental operations and their associated authorities. Additionally, the program will provide you with platforms to actively engage with communities and young people, empowering them to understand the principles of accountability and their fundamental civic rights.

Who can Apply?

Be 18-35 years of age
A Kenyan National
Be a holder of an undergraduate degree from a recognized university
Demonstrate commitment to involvement of the program activities
Demonstrate interest in matters of leadership, governance and social accountability

How are Applicants Selected?

The selection committee will select qualified persons based on the following parameters

A proven record of leadership experience and commitment to community development through service and volunteerism.
A proactive individual
A clear demonstrated willingness to be accountable and able to influence in their communities.
Profound communication skills, both oral and written
Ability to work in teams and ethnic communities and skills to respect opinions of other people
