Also, interested applicants must ensure they meet the following eligibility criteria:
- Be an international student (non-EU/EEA).
- Must have a Bachelor’s degree equivalent to a Swedish kandidatexamen from a globally recognized university.
- Must meet standard admission requirements for Master’s-level studies.
- English proficiency is required, typically equivalent to the Swedish upper secondary course English 6.
- Some programs may require English 5 or English 7.
- Evidence of English proficiency through TOEFL (minimum score of 90 IBT) or IELTS (minimum score of 6.5, no band less than 6.0).
- Must not have previously been awarded a scholarship from Dalarna University.

However, the scholarships go directly towards a reduction in your tuition fees and will cover between 10 and 50 percent of your total tuition fees. The amount that you are awarded is automatically deducted in set amounts each semester for your program.
