Responsibilities of the Intern
The selected intern will work under the supervision of the Secretary of the Inland Transport Committee (ITC) and will be involved in the following tasks:
- Assist with research, analysis, and drafting of documents for the 87th plenary session of the ITC.
- Help invite participants and speakers, including high-level representatives from governments, international organizations, and the private sector.
- Support the organization of side-events, involving high-level UN officials and representatives of member states.
- Assist with the preparation of communication materials and manage the ITC web and social media presence.
- Provide ad hoc assistance with other activities related to the preparation and follow-up of the ITC plenary session and its side-events, and support the implementation of the ITC Decarbonization Strategy.
