Charles Darwin University applications must be submitted no later than the dates below:
Higher education scholarships:
Summer semester 2024: 11th October 2024
Semester 1 2025: 24th January 2025
TAFE scholarships:
Semester 1 2025: 22nd November 2024
Department of Education applications must be submitted no later than the dates below:

Study in Australia’s Northern Territory Scholarships are provided by the Northern Territory Government to talented international students to study in Australia’s Northern Territory.
The scholarship program is currently accessible for all international students wanting to study in the Northern Territory (NT).
Type:
International scholarship.
Who can Apply for the Study in Australia’s Northern Territory Scholarship Program?
You must:
have applied and obtained an offer of admission to study in the NT
have a demonstrated record of academic excellence, community engagement and leadership
be accepted to study with one of the NT’s education or training providers listed under “Participating providers” (below)
meet the NT education or training provider’s academic and English entry criteria
be residing interstate or overseas and planning to move to the NT at the time of submitting your application
not already be living in the NT or studying with an NT education provider
not hold any other scholarship (except Charles Darwin University Global Merit Scholarship)
have submitted your completed scholarship application form to Study NT, and
not be a current Australian citizen, Australian permanent resident or a New Zealand citizen
How are Applicants Selected?
Study NT will accept and assess your application in consultation with the participating education or training provider that you have received an offer of admission from.
Here’s a quick breakdown of the scholarships available:
Vocational Education and Training (VET/TAFE): $3,750
Secondary School: $5,000
Higher Education: $6,000
These scholarships cover your first semester or year of tuition fees at any of the participating providers. Whether you’re aiming for a TAFE course, high school, or a university degree, there’s something here for everyone.

How to Apply for the Study in Australia’s Northern Territory Scholarship Program:
Fill in the application form and submit it to Study NT.
If your application is successful
If your application is successful, Study NT will notify you.
You must sign a letter of agreement confirming you will continue to meet the scholarship criteria and terms. This is a legally binding agreement.
You need to return the signed agreement to Study NT within 2 weeks of receiving your Scholarship Endorsement Letter
How your scholarship is paid
Your scholarship will be paid directly to your education or training provider, who will reduce your fees for your first semester or year of tuition to the equivalency of your awarded scholarship.
