This scholarship has been established for Trimester 1 2025 to support a senior school graduate in 2024 to achieve their diploma of choice and enable the pursuit of their dream degree and career.

Who can Apply for the The Class of 2024 $10,000 Scholarship at Griffith College?

To be eligible, you must:

  • be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or New Zealand Citizen
  • be eligible for admission into a Griffith College Diploma
  • be a new student who has not studied at Griffith College in any previous study period
  • have successfully completed Year 12, or expect to complete Year 12 in 2024 from an Australian high school
  • have applied (either via StudyLink or QTAC) to commence a Griffith College Diploma, with planned progression into Griffith University 
    Note: Scholarship is not available for Diploma of Health Care students.

How to Apply for the The Class of 2024 $10,000 Scholarship at Griffith College:

Applicants must submit a scholarship application form (included below). The application will include a personal statement addressing the following (maximum 300 words each category):

  • Details about yourself and your personal qualities. This can include your potential to achieve at college and university, any schooling / personal / sporting / community achievements, community involvement, ability to overcome adversity, and / or your interests and drive. 
  • Outline how this scholarship and study at Griffith College would impact your life, and how it would assist you in achieving your current and future goals.
  • Outline your choice of study area and future study progression goals.

Applicants who are shortlisted may be required to provide additional information / documentation to show evidence of eligibility, or to verify information provided in their application. They may be required to attend an interview with the Scholarship Selection Committee.

The scholarship’s value is $10,000, with $1,250 deducted from the tuition fee of each of the eight courses in the diploma program. Payment is subject to the recipient satisfying scholarship terms and conditions.

Applications must be completed and submitted by the closing date.
