About the Fak’ugesi Awards
The awards are designed to honor creatives in different categories, including music, animation, video games, XR (AR, VR), visual arts, and, for the first time, design.

Requirements
- Applicants must be 18 years or older, and reside in any African country.
- The submitted work must be your/their own.
- Applicants must have a fully completed project (material/project must have been shown publicly).
- An application must be made in one category.
- The project or material must have been created between present and 2023.
- All submissions in which intellectual property rights are jointly owned must be submitted with the full written consent of all rights holders concerned.
- Open to all individuals/companies who wish to apply.
