NYCU International Student Scholarships for the 2025 Spring Semester Application

The National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University in Taiwan announces the call for applications for the 2025 NYCU International Scholarship for the Spring Semester.

When is Application Deadline:

• Till 12:00 noon, September 15, 2024 (GMT+8)

Tell Me About the Award:

This scholarships for the 2025 Spring semester are available for students whose current scholarship duration ends in February 2025. The scholarships cover the period from March 2025 to February 2026.

Which Fields are Eligible?

• All academic fields offered at National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University (NYCU)

• Undergraduate and postgraduate scholarships

Who can Apply?

1.     Eligibility:

For students whose NYCU Scholarship award duration ends in February 2025.

The following situations are not eligible for the scholarship:

(1)    Students currently receiving government-funded scholarships. For example, current NYCU scholarship recipients whose award duration includes the 2025 Spring semester, Taiwan Scholarships, ESP Scholarship, UST Scholarship, TIGP Scholarship, NSNT Scholarship, ICDF Scholarship, NYCU Elite Ph.D., a scholarship sponsored by the government of your home country…. etc.). 

(2)    Students holding a working VISA/ARC.

What is the Benefit of Award?

• Scholarship for student award
• Tuition charged as local students (for students exceeding maximum award period)
• The scholarship recipients will receive a Monthly Stipend up to NT$30,000 and a Tuition Waiver while pursuing undergraduate or postgraduate degrees in the university.

How Long Will the Award Last?

• One year (March 2025 – February 2026)

2. Submit required documents as PDF files:
   • Declaration with applicant’s signature
   • Full official transcript including 2024 Spring semester grades
   • Conduct grades
   • Recommendation letter from the advisor
   • Research report (for postgraduate students exceeding maximum award period)
   • Chinese language waived certificate (optional)
   • Supplementary materials (optional)
