Southern Africa Public Leadership Programme Overview:
The Southern Africa Public Leadership Programme is designed to develop strong and diverse networks of political and government leaders across the SADC region. The programme targets established leaders aged 18 to 45 in various professions, educational institutions, communities, and society.
Eligibility:
- Proven leaders aged 18 to 45
- Individuals exploring roles in elected office or public service
- Candidates should have:
- Deep political awareness
- Effective leadership in diverse settings
- Initiative
- Strong communication skills
- Emotional intelligence
- Authenticity
- Genuine commitment to public service
Programme Duration:
- Seven months of intensive learning
- Five years of alumni engagement
Curriculum:
- Seven in-residence weekend seminars, each spanning four days and three nights
- Seminars include workshops, expert-led sessions, case studies, and collaborative projects
