About the Award:

The University of South Africa (UNISA) is inviting applications for its UNISA Internship Programme. This opportunity is open to unemployed South African citizens who have completed a UNISA qualification (National Diploma or Degree equivalent to NQF level 6 and above). Applicants must have no formal work experience in their field of study and should not have participated in any other Internship programmes.

Who can Apply?

To be eligible for the UNISA Internship Programme, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  1. South African Citizenship: Only South African citizens who have completed a UNISA qualification are eligible.
  2. Qualification: Must hold a National Diploma or Degree equivalent to NQF level 6 or above.
  3. Work Experience: Applicants should have no formal work experience in their field of study.
  4. Previous Internships: Those who have participated in any Internship programme should not apply.
  5. Age Limit: Applicants should be no older than 35 years.
  6. Specific Application Details: The position reference number and UNISA student number must be accurately indicated on the application portal. Applications for multiple positions must be submitted separately.

Preference for the UNISA Internship Programme will be given to applicants residing in the location/region or designated province.
