The GREAT Scholarships, provided by the British Council and the UK government’s GREAT Britain campaign, support prospective students from 18 countries enrolling in UK higher education institutions in 2025.

The GREAT Scholarships 2025 HEI Registration program is a British Council program to provide scholarships to overseas students in association with the UK’s GREAT Britain campaign. With the help of these program, deserving candidates should be able to enroll in one-year taught master’s programs at UK higher education institutions.
They are jointly funded by the UK government’s GREAT Britain campaign and the British Council with participating UK higher education institutions, targeting prospective students from Bangladesh, China, Egypt, France, Ghana, Greece, Kenya, India, Indonesia, Italy, Malaysia, Mexico, Nigeria, Pakistan, Spain, Thailand, Turkey and Vietnam, who will enrol into UK higher education institutions in the autumn of 2025.
All subjects, with specifics for Justice and Law, Science and Technology.
Postgraduate taught (one-year master’s only) funding.
Based on institutional bids and program criteria.
The GREAT Scholarships 2025 program will offer 200 scholarships in total. The following nations will get these scholarships:
