The Peace Corps is now accepting applications for its Spring 2025 Student Internship Program. This program offers an excellent opportunity for undergraduate and graduate students to gain practical experience while contributing to the Peace Corps’ mission.
Program Overview
The Peace Corps Student Internship Program provides students with hands-on experience in various fields, allowing them to apply their academic knowledge in a real-world setting. Interns will engage in professional and technical duties aligned with their field of study.

Who Can Apply?
The program is open to:
- Undergraduate Students (Juniors and Seniors)
- Graduate Students
Applicants must:
- Be enrolled in an accredited educational institution.
- Be returning to school immediately following the internship.
- Be U.S. citizens.
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Have a minimum GPA of 3.0.
Internship Tracks
Interns may be placed in the following areas:
- Business and Industry: Focus on management, procurement, and financial analysis.
- Communication, Policy Review, and Development: Work on communications, marketing, and policy research.
- Financial Management, Accounting, and Budget: Gain experience in fiscal and accounting program management.
- General Administrative and Office Services: Learn about administrative management and office support.
- Human Resources: Develop an understanding of HR principles and processes.
Compensation
Interns are compensated according to the federal pay scale, earning between $33,878 and $77,895 annually, pro-rated based on the duration of the internship.

Requirements and Qualifications
- Citizenship: U.S. citizens only.
- Age: At least 18 years old.
- Education: Minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Background Check: A public trust background investigation is required.
