Tulane offers both need-based and merit-based scholarships, most of which are renewable for your 4 years at Tulane. Many of our scholarships are awarded based on both need and merit (academic, athletic, or talent) and have renewable criteria. Scholarship amounts range from $1,000 to those that cover our full tuition or even the full cost of attendance.

Who can Apply For The Fully Funded Tulane University Scholarships?

The eligibility criteria differ based on the scholarship type you’re applying for. However, applicants should take note of the following:

Dean’s Scholarship:

  • Demonstrates an outstanding academic record.
  • Actively participates in extracurricular activities.
  • Achieves high scores on Tulane admission tests, with an ACT score of 33 or higher, SAT score of 1500 or higher, or a core GPA and CGPA of at least 3.7.
  • Applicants whose first language is not English must provide an English proficiency certificate.

Paul Tulane Scholarship:

  • Maintains an excellent academic profile, including advanced placement courses.
  • Typically ranks within the top 5% of the class.
  • Actively engages in extracurricular activities.
  • Scores 33 or above on the ACT, 1500 or above on the SAT, or maintains a core GPA and CGPA of at least 3.7.
  • An English proficiency certificate is required for applicants whose first language is not English.

Stamps Scholarship:

  • Holds an exemplary academic record.
  • Actively involved in co-curricular activities.
  • Attains high scores on Tulane admission tests, with an ACT score of 33 or above, an SAT score of 1500 or above, or a core GPA and CGPA of 3.7 or higher.
  • If English is not the applicant’s first language, an English proficiency certificate is necessary.
