The World Bank Treasury Summer Internship Program 2025 is a full-time, ten-week program from May 27 to August 4, 2025, in Washington, DC. The program begins with a customized onboarding session in the first week, followed by three three-week rotations across different Treasury teams. Interns engage in weekly discussions with the program director and attend a career perspectives speaker series featuring insights from various Treasury officers, managers, and directors. Additionally, participants also have the opportunity to network with nearly 300 Treasury employees, including the Vice President & Treasurer. At the end of each rotation, interns present their findings to their respective teams, and the program culminates in a capstone presentation to the management team, showcasing their summer’s work.

Who can Apply For The World Bank Treasury Summer Internship Program?
Also, applicants must meet the following eligibility criteria:
- Must be enrolled in the second-to-last year of the equivalent of a four-year college degree program with a demonstrated interest in finance, business, economics, or a related field;
- Must be prepared to graduate with the equivalent of a four-year college degree between December 2025 and September 2026;
- Must be in good academic standing at their college or university;
- Must be available full-time through the duration of the internship;
- Must not have a concurrent employment contract or internship.
How are Applicants Selected?
All completed applications submitted on time through the application portal will be reviewed by the recruitment committee. Successful applicants may be asked to complete a remote test. A select few will be invited to interview with the committee. All applicants will be notified of the result by December.
