Tell Me About The SG Holdings Undergraduate Scholarship for Nigerian Students:

The SG Holdings Foundation Scholarship Scheme is dedicated to supporting indigenes of the Ijemo Community. This Scheme provides financial assistance to students enrolled in public universities, polytechnics, and colleges of education across Nigeria. Additionally, it includes an intervention fund (donation) to enhance the existing Scholarship Fund of the Christ Anglican Church, Ijemo Abeokuta, specifically for students who are members of the Church.

Who can Apply For The SG Holdings Undergraduate Scholarship for Nigerian Students?

Additionally, applicants must meet the following eligibility criteria:

  • Applicants must be a native of IJEMO in Abeokuta, Ogun State or must have lived in IJEMO not less than 15 years
  • Be a Student of a Public University, Polytechnic College of Education
  • For Freshers: Applicants must have gained admission through JAMB and paid the required Acceptance Fee.
  • For returning Students: Those applying from the 200 Level onward must provide their CGPA, duly signed and certified by the Dean of the Faculty or HOD. Only students with a CGPA of at least Second Class lower (Universities), Lower Credit (Polytechnics), or Credit (Colleges of Education) will be eligible for this Scholarship.

Candidates must submit their applications via email to SGHF@sgholdingslimited.com” with the subject.“Application for 2024 Attaching the following:

  • A one-page document detailing your academic background, the purpose of applying for the scholarship, and how you will add value to the Community after graduation. (Please do not exceed one page)
  • Local Government Certificate of Origin.
  • Proof of CGPA printed from the school portal signed and stamped by the Dean or Head of Department.
  • JAMB/Institution’s Admission Letter.
  • Completed Application letter and Attestation letter (Click to download the Application letter and Attestation letter.
  • Student Identity Card.
  • Proof of Payment of School Admission Acceptance Fee(for new students only)
