Who can Apply For The Aarhus Institute of Advanced Studies AIAS-AUFF Fellowships?

Also, applicants must meet the following eligibility criteria:

• Open to researchers from all disciplines and any nationality.
• Applicants must meet the mobility requirement, meaning they should not have lived or worked in Denmark for more than 12 months in the two years before the application deadline.
• Applicants with 2-10 years of experience after completing their PhD are eligible for a 23-month junior fellowship.
• Applicants with over 11 years of experience after completing their PhD are eligible for an 11-month senior fellowship.

Application Timeline:

• Opening of call: August 2024.
• Deadline for applications: 5 November 2024 at 12.00 (noon) CET.
• Evaluation and selection period: November-February 2025.
• Applicants will receive answers: in March 2025.
• Fellowships begin on 1 September 2025.

Additionally, successful applicants will benefit the following:

• a salary based on seniority (employment conditions and wages are regulated through the Danish collective union agreements)

Fellows will have office space at AIAS and can participate in the academic training activities, conferences and workshops at AIAS. They will also be affiliated with the relevant research environments at Aarhus University.
