The Faculty of Mathematics Global Scholarships provide financial support to incoming international undergraduate students enrolled in any program in the Faculty of Mathematics at the University of Waterloo, except for Software Engineering and Computing and Financial Management. The scholarship aims to reward high-achieving students with distinguished academic performance in mathematics, as well as accomplishments in math or computer science contests and extracurricular activities.
Undergraduate Entrance Scholarships
International students studying on a study permit who are incoming undergraduate students in eligible programs at the Faculty of Mathematics.
Selection is based on:
All countries provided the applicant is an international student on a study permit.
Faculty of Mathematics, University of Waterloo, Canada.
Approximately 10 scholarships.
The scholarships range from $12,000 to $25,000, distributed equally over eight academic terms.
The award is provided over eight academic terms, with payments beyond the first year contingent upon maintaining an overall academic average of 80% or greater and continued enrollment in an approved program.
