The 2024 Green Africa Youth Organization (GAYO) African Youth Negotiators Fellowship Program is now open for applications. This program helps young people gain the knowledge and skills needed to take part in climate talks and negotiations, especially within the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC). Also, since 2022, the Fellowship has given participants a clear understanding of the UNFCCC process and key negotiation areas that shape COP outcomes. Each year, it brings together young people from government, civil society, academia, and underrepresented communities, helping them to engage effectively in the UNFCCC process.
