Tell Me About The NCDMB Annual National Undergraduate Essay Competition:
The NCDMB Annual National Undergraduate Oil & Gas Essay Competition sponsored by the Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB) is designed to promote the Nigerian Content (NC) initiative and create the awareness for Nigerians to build local capacity to participate effectively in Nigerian’s Oil and Gas industry.

Who can Apply For The NCDMB Annual National Undergraduate Essay Competition?
Also, applicants are tp meet the following criteria:
- Open to 100-200 level students in public and private Nigerian Universities and Polytechnics.
- Entrants must submit either a letter of admission or a signed letter of attestation from their Head of Department (HOD).
- All essays must be original and specifically written for the competition.
- Co-authorship is not permitted.
- Manuscripts must not exceed 1,500 words.
How are Applicants Selected?
Essays will be judged based on:
- Clarity of Expression
- Spelling and Grammar
- Originality of Thought
- Depth of Analysis
- Relevance to the Industry
- Conformity to Contest Rules
Shortlisted entrants will be contacted for a final round of interactive assessment on or before 28th October 2024. Essays will be subjected to AI/plagiarism checks to determine originality.
