Tell Me About The Fully funded Erasmus Mundus CLMCE Scholarship:

The International Master in Children’s Literature, Media and Cultural Entrepreneurship (CLMCE) is an Erasmus Mundus Joint Master programme. It is a 24-month full-time programme with three mandatory mobility periods and the option to attend one of our optional summer schools. The CLMCE programme is co-funded by the European Union through the Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters programme.

Who can Apply For The Fully funded Erasmus Mundus CLMCE Scholarship?

Also, to be eligible, you must meet the following criteria:

  • 2.1 Hons (or non-UK equivalent) in English or other Modern Language, Literature Studies, History, Film and Media Studies (within arts and humanities), Childhood Studies, Anthropology, Sociology, Library and Information Studies, Arts or Humanities Education.
  • Must take a recognized english test: 
  • IELTS: 6.5 with no subtests under 6.0. 
  • TOEFL : 79 with minimum R 13, L 12, S 18, W 21. 
  • PTE: 59 with a minimum of 59 in all sub-tests.
  • Cambridge Proficiency in English (CPE) and Cambridge Advanced English (CAE): 176 overall, no subtest less than 169
  • Oxford English Language Level Test (ELLT): 7 Overall
  • Glasgow International College English Language: 65%.

Note that all test scores must be taken within 2 years and 5 months of the start date. Applicants must meet the overall and subtest requirements using a single test.

  • Application Form (Scholarship) 2025 (if you’re applying for an Erasmus Mundus Scholarship)
    OR 
  • Application Form (Self Funding) 2025 (if you’re applying as a self-funded student)
    A copy (or copies) of your official degree certificate(s) (if you have already completed your degree)
  • A copy (or copies) of your official academic transcript(s), showing full details of subjects studied and grades/marks obtained
  • Official English translations of the certificate(s) and transcript(s)
  • Two reference* letters on headed paper
  • Current CV
  • English Language Test Certificate (if your first language is not English) – Please note, that evidence of your English Language ability (if your first language is not English) must be uploaded by the Scholarship application deadline. 
  • A copy of the photo page of your passport 
  • Two Reference Letters – must be uploaded at the time of application. At least one must be an academic reference and, if appropriate, the other from the student’s most recent employer.

What is the Benefit of the Award?

  • Additionally, successful applicants will enjoy the following benefits:
    The Erasmus Mundus scholarship has a value of EUR 1,400 per month, for a total duration of 24 months (two-year programme).  
  • The maximum grant amount per student is 33 600 Euro (1,400 Euro x 24 months). 

The Erasmus Mundus scholarship includes: 

  • a contribution to the student participation costs (including tuition fees, full insurance coverage and any other mandatory costs related to the student’s participation in the EMJM study programme.
  • a contribution to student travel and installation costs (installation costs are meant to cover additional costs such as the visa application procedure, issuing of residence permit, temporary accommodation costs etc)
  • a monthly subsistence allowance for the entire duration of the EMJM study programme.
