• Candidates should have journalism experience or be interested in transitioning to journalism from fields like law, economics, science, or technology/IT.
• Must be creative, open-minded, and able to think independently.
• Must have completed a university or college degree or an apprenticeship.
• Ideal for candidates who are experts in diverse disciplines.
• For the bilingual traineeship:
• Native speakers of a DW program language with excellent English proficiency (C1/C2) and good German proficiency (B1/B2).
• Native English speakers with good German proficiency (B1/B2).
• Native German speakers with excellent English proficiency (C1/C2).
