High Court Chambers Cape Town (HCCCPT), Group of Advocates offers a structured pupillage programme for aspiring advocates in collaboration with the South African Bar Association (SABA).

How Long will Award Last?

  • Pupillage runs for 12 months with an allocated mentor/practical vocational trainer.
  • During which period the pupil must complete 400 notional hours of course work (within the first 6 months).
  • Whereafter the pupils will write the LPC exams and then complete the advocacy training program, whilst finishing the second 6-month period of pupillage with their mentors/practical vocational trainers.
