The Fund for Peace offers both full-time and part-time remote internships each semester, providing interns with meaningful responsibilities and hands-on experience in the field of international relations. These internships are designed to be flexible, accommodating students’ schedules while allowing them to manage their own projects and conduct independent research. Interns will gain invaluable insights into the international and NGO communities, interacting with a diverse range of stakeholders, including government agencies, multilateral organizations, businesses, think tanks, and NGOs. This opportunity equips interns with practical skills and experience essential for a career in international relations.

To be eligible for this internship program, ensure you meet the following criteria:

  • Though academic and professional qualifications are obviously important, we also prefer our interns to be well-rounded and personable.
  • Experience with or understanding of the Fund for Peace’s programmatic areas
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Receive a stipend to cover expenses, with $350 per month for part-time interns and $700 per month for full-time interns.

Please submit your CV/resume, cover letter, the names and contacts of three referees/three references (no reference letter is required), and your availability and intended hours (part-time or full-time) at recruitment@fundforpeace.org. Also, note that applications submitted anywhere other than through this email address will not be considered. Be sure to include the following criteria in your application materials:

  • Applicants MUST detail their intended period of interning with us (e.g., June through August)
  • Applicants MUST detail whether they intend to work full-time or part-time (and if so, what the intended working hours would be).
  • In your cover letter, be sure to explain your interest in and enthusiasm for The Fund for Peace, as often an applicant’s enthusiasm for the organization and our programs will give applicants an edge.
