University of Leicester International Undergraduate Merit Scholarship 2025
The University of Leicester is delighted to offer our International Undergraduate Merit Scholarship to international students demonstrating exceptional academic achievement.
This merit-based scholarship, worth £5,000 per year, is offered to international fee-paying students applying for an undergraduate degree* at the University of Leicester who achieve or exceed the academic grades outlined below.
There is no specific deadline for the scholarship; eligible students will be considered automatically when submitting their final results.

All full-time, campus-based undergraduate degree programs, except Medicine and LLB Maitrise.

International students (classified as international for fee purposes) applying for full-time undergraduate courses, starting in September 2025.
Selection is based on academic achievement. Students who exceed the standard A-Level entry requirements (e.g., achieving AAA when ABB is required) will automatically be considered for the scholarship.

Up to three years, provided students maintain their eligibility. The scholarship does not apply to industrial placements, overseas exchanges, resit years, or suspended studies.
