Talented international students are encouraged to apply for the UAL International Postgraduate Scholarship, which offers a substantial £7,000 tuition price waiver for the January 2025 intake. Students who have been offered admission to any of UAL’s prestigious Colleges and Institutes to pursue a master’s degree are eligible for this award.

The UAL International Postgraduate Scholarship provides a £7,000 tuition fee waiver for full-time, part-time, or online-taught master’s courses at UAL’s Colleges and Institutes. Up to 300 scholarships are available for the 2024/25 academic year, and up to 315 scholarships for 2025/26.

Criteria 1: You must hold an offer to study a full-time, part-time or online taught master’s course at one of UAL’s Colleges and Institutes starting in 2024/25 or 2025/26.
Criteria 2: You need to qualify for the Overseas category of tuition fee status. Read more about Postgraduate Tuition Fees.
Criteria 3: You have achieved, or are predicted to achieve, an upper second-class honours degree or above at undergraduate level. Recognised equivalent qualifications are also accepted. To check your eligibility, read the International Academic Qualifications Equivalency (PDF 472 KB).
Criteria 4: You must provide a personal statement as part of your scholarship application that responds to the following questions (maximum 350 words per question):

Selection is based on academic qualifications, a personal statement (responding to specific questions), and a satisfactory personal reference from an academic or professional referee. The UAL selection panel will evaluate applications based on the evidence provided.
International students who qualify for overseas tuition fee status.
The scholarship can be used for courses at any of UAL’s Colleges and Institutes in the UK. It also applies to online programs.
The award provides a £7,000 tuition fee waiver for the first year. For part-time or extended courses, the surplus can be used toward Year 2 fees if necessary.
The scholarship covers tuition for the first year of the course. For part-time or extended programs, any remaining scholarship amount will be applied to subsequent years.
