This is a fully funded 3.5-year PhD scholarship in Consumer & Sensory Science at the Food Experience and Sensory Testing (Feast) Lab at Massey University, New Zealand. The project focuses on consumer engagement with future foods, exploring sensory and emotional responses to these foods using tools like the Check-All-That-Apply (CATA) approach and eye tracking technology.
Applicants should have a background in Food Science, Psychology, or a related field.

Candidates with an Honours degree (First or Second Class Division 1) in a relevant field, ideally with a Master’s, strong communication skills, and experience with human subjects, statistics, and data analysis. Experience with eye tracking and immersive technologies is an advantage.
Candidates are selected based on academic qualifications, relevant experience, communication skills, and their alignment with the project’s research goals.
The scholarship is open to all applicants, including international candidates who meet visa requirements for study in New Zealand.

A tax-free stipend of NZ$35,000 per year, full tuition coverage, and research cost coverage for 3.5 years.
