Civic Charge is a year-long accelerator program designed to support change-makers who are implementing innovative approaches to strengthen social accountability. It aims to provide practical support for scaling and increasing the impact of existing social accountability projects. The program includes monthly virtual learning sessions, peer engagement, and a stackable curriculum covering areas like institutional strengthening, project management, and communications. This accelerator is ideal for individuals or leaders working on governance issues, climate justice, inclusion, digital governance, or expanding civic agency in the listed countries.

Who can Apply For The Accountability Lab and Center for International Private Enterprise Accelerator Program?

Also, the eligibility criteria include:

  • Applicants must be individuals (or leaders within organizations) already implementing social accountability projects in the countries listed.
  • Projects should focus on inclusion, climate justice, digital governance, or expanding civic agency.
  • Applicants must be able to work online for at least 4 hours per week and have sufficient internet access.
  • Open to creative professionals using their talents to drive positive change (for the CIPE Creative Industries Fellowship).

The eligible countries include Bangladesh, Belize, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Kenya, Liberia, Mali, Mexico, Nepal, Niger, Nigeria, Pakistan, Somaliland, South Africa, Uganda, and Zimbabwe.
