What is the Benefit of the Award?

Additionally, selected scholars will benefit the following: 

  • Scholars receive full or partial tuition coverage for their year at a U.S. private high school.
  • Boarding school placements cover room and board, while day school placements provide housing with a volunteer host family.
  • A multi-day orientation helps scholars acclimate and prepares them for success before the school year begins.
  • Scholars join a global network of over 6,000 alumni, many of whom become leaders in their fields.

How Long Will the Award Last?

How to Apply:

  • Complete the online application form, including biographical details, essay responses, teacher recommendations, transcripts, and photos.
  • Finalists participate in an interview with ASSIST, either in-person in their home country or virtually.
  • Candidates are notified of their status by January or February, with successful scholars informed of placements by March or April.
