Search for Common Ground’s Africa Program Development Hub is seeking program development interns who will support the team in the development of successful proposals and concept notes that will contribute to building peace across the African continent.
The interns will join a high-performing, diverse, and dynamic team based in Europe, East and West Africa, who are passionate about designing impactful programs in 17 countries across the Sahel region, the Lake Chad Basin, the Great Lakes, the Horn of Africa, Tanzania-Mozambique, and the Sudans. Program development commences with scoping and pre-positioning for potential funding opportunities, and completes with the signing of a project award. Interns will have the opportunity to contribute to the different stages of program development: from writing proposals and concept notes, engaging with local and international partners, and supporting donor engagement. Each intern will be assigned a geographic region, but may be requested to support other countries within the Africa portfolio.
