The Obama Foundation Leaders Africa program is a six-month, fully-funded, non-residential virtual leadership program. It focuses on building values-based leadership skills, fostering connections, and supporting innovative changemakers across the continent.

Who Can Apply for the Obama Foundation Leaders Program?
Applicants must:
- Be a citizen, permanent resident, or have resided in an African country for at least five years.
- Focus on creating meaningful change in Africa or its local communities.
- Have a minimum of three years of relevant leadership experience.
- Be proficient in English.
- Be aged between 24–45 years as of September 1, 2025.
How Are Applicants Selected?
Selection is based on:
- Demonstrated commitment to advancing the common good.
- Leadership experience and potential to drive impactful change.
- Alignment with values-based leadership principles.

Where Will the Award Be Taken?
The program is conducted virtually, with potential for in-person activities in the United States.
