The World Bank Legal Internship Program provides law students with a unique opportunity to contribute to the mission and work of the World Bank, particularly within the Legal Vice Presidency. Through this program, interns gain exposure to the Bank’s daily operations, collaborate with inspiring development professionals, and enhance their legal skills while working in a diverse, multicultural environment. The program is offered three times a year Spring, Summer, and Fall and allows participants to engage in high-profile projects, research, and legal services at World Bank Headquarters in Washington, D.C., or selected country offices.

Who Can Apply For The World Bank Legal Vice Presidency Internship?
Also, the eligibility criteria include:
- Must be a citizen of an IBRD member state.
- Must be enrolled in an LLB, JD, LLM, SJD, PhD, or equivalent legal academic program during the internship period.
- Must have an excellent command of the English language.
- Preference is given to candidates proficient in one of the IBRD’s working languages: Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian, or Spanish.
