The Sèmè City Film Lab is a unique 14-month incubation program designed for aspiring screenwriters and creative producers from Benin and the African diaspora. Created by Sèmè City in collaboration with EbonyLife Media and supported by the World Bank, the program aims to empower young creatives with the skills and resources needed to turn their film and series ideas into marketable, high-quality productions. Participants receive expert training, practical experience, and mentorship from seasoned professionals in the screen industries.
