How Are Applicants Selected?
- Nominations are reviewed by a Commonwealth Peace Prize Committee, which creates a shortlist.
- A high-level panel of judges evaluates the shortlist and selects the winner in February 2025.
- The winner is announced by the Commonwealth Secretary-General during Commonwealth Week in 2025.
Which Countries Are Eligible?
Citizens of all Commonwealth member countries are eligible.

- Nominations open on 21 September 2024 (International Peace Day) and close on 17 January 2025.
- Only Commonwealth member governments (via High Commissions or accredited officials) and Heads of Commonwealth Accredited Organizations can submit nominations.
