Tell Me About The Government of Austria Ernst Mach Research Scholarship:
The Ernst Mach Grant program is named after Austrian physicist and philosopher Ernst Mach (1838-1916) and is funded by the Austrian Federal Ministry of Education, Science and Research (BMBWF). It supports students and young researchers from international universities who wish to undertake short-term research or study stay in Austria.

Who can Apply For TheGovernment of Austria Ernst Mach Research Scholarship?
Also, the eligibility criteria include:
- Applicants must be exchange students studying a Master’s program at a university in a defined eligible country OR studying a Bachelor’s program with at least four completed semesters by the time of the grant.
- Must be accepted as an exchange student at FH Salzburg (contact: Tina Gsenger).
- Must demonstrate excellent proficiency in English and/or German.
- Must plan a stay in Austria for 4 to 10 months.
- Must not have studied, pursued research, or conducted academic work in Austria in the six months prior to taking up the grant.
- Must be under 35 years of age.
Required Documents:
Applicants are also to submit the following:
- Proof of enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program.
- Evidence of having completed at least four semesters of a Bachelor’s program (if applicable).
- Admission letter as an exchange student at FH Salzburg.
- Proof of English and/or German language proficiency.
- Personal statement or study plan for the Austrian stay.
- Relevant certificates or academic achievements.
