The White Rose College of the Arts & Humanities (WRoCAH) is a Doctoral Training Partnership of the Universities of Leeds, Sheffield, and York that offers over 50 AHRC studentships per year to candidates with a place for doctoral study at the Universities of Leeds, Sheffield or York.

WRoCAH offers over 50 AHRC-funded studentships annually for doctoral research in arts and humanities at the Universities of Leeds, Sheffield, and York. Funded by the Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC), the scholarships support interdisciplinary research, training, and professional development.

Over 50 scholarships are available annually.
What is the Benefit of the Award?
- Full Tuition Fees: Fully funded.
- Maintenance Stipend: Annual living allowance (2024/25 rate: £19,237).
- Research Training Support Grant: Funding for conferences, fieldwork, and additional training.
- Access to interdisciplinary research training and professional development opportunities.
How Long Will the Award Last?
- 3 years (full-time doctoral study).

- Scholarship applications are made directly to WRoCAH.
