Tell Me About The Climate Investment Fund (CIF) Youth Fellowship:
The CIF Youth Fellowship is a one-year career development initiative designed to embed young professionals into CIF-financed projects in their home countries. Launched in 2023, the fellowship allows individuals passionate about climate finance to work with six leading multilateral development banks (MDBs) on impactful projects related to clean energy, climate resilience, and social inclusion. Fellows contribute to project design, implementation, and research, gaining hands-on experience and capacity-building training to foster personal and professional growth.

Who can Apply for the Climate Investment Fund (CIF) Youth Fellowship?

- Applicants must be between 18 and 28 years old at the time of application.
- Residency in Brazil, Ghana, India, Papua New Guinea, or Tรผrkiye with valid work authorization is required.
- Must hold an undergraduate degree or be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program.
- Demonstrate leadership and passion for climate action.
- Possess prior exposure to climate action through work or learning.
- Exhibit the ability to work independently.
