The Taiwan International Internship Program (TIIP) is a pre-doctoral research training internship aimed at providing international students with practical hands-on scientific training, academic learning opportunities, and cultural exchange experiences in Taiwan.

Who Can Apply for the v?
- Eligible candidates:
- Undergraduate students in their final year.
- Master’s degree students.
- Individuals holding a B.S. or Master’s degree.
- Ineligible candidates:
- Ph.D. students.
- Past participants of the TIIP program.
- Current employees or research assistants at Academia Sinica.

How Many Positions Are Available?
- The number of interns selected depends on program capacity.
What is the Benefit of the Internship?
- Financial Support:
- Monthly stipend of NTD 30,000 (before tax).
- Reimbursement for half of the cheapest round-trip airfare (economy class) to Taipei (maximum reimbursement: NTD 15,000).
- Accommodation:
- Affordable on-campus housing will be arranged.
- Experience:
- Receive hands-on scientific training and education.
- Learn the Chinese language and immerse in Taiwanese culture.
How Long Will the Internship Last?
- Two months, depending on the chosen cohort:
- 1st Cohort: May 1 – June 30.
- 2nd Cohort: June 1 – July 31.
- 3rd Cohort: July 1 – August 31.
