The Johannesburg Institute for Advanced Study (JIAS) is inviting applications for its 2025 Writing Fellowship, scheduled from 1 April to 30 June 2025. The fellowship focuses on the theme of Global Blackness, exploring the diverse experiences, intellectual traditions, and theories connected to Blackness across different geographies and contexts. - CV, bio, and headshot (can include links to relevant resources).
- A brief motivation (max 250 words) explaining why Johannesburg and JIAS are significant for your project.
- A detailed project outline (max 1000 words), including a synopsis of your writing or creative project, or an artist’s statement. Relevant images or links can also be included.
