The CGU Scholarships for International Doctoral Students provide financial assistance for up to four years, with a monthly stipend of NTD 30,000, split between the advisor and CGU. An additional scholarship of up to NTD 12,000 per month is available for outstanding students. Tuition fees are waived from the third academic year for Ph.D. students, though a credit fee of NTD 3,813 per semester is required.

Also, the eligibility criteria include:
Must meet one of the following language proficiency requirements within five years prior to admission:
- TOEFL ITP score 523 or above
- TOEFL iBT score 69 or above
- TOEIC score 700 or above
- IELTS band score 5.5 or above
- Foreign Language Proficiency Test (FLPT-English) total score 240
- Linguaskill Business score 160 or above
For the extra scholarship (optional), choose one of the following:
- Option I: GRE Quantitative Reasoning score between 160 and 170.
- Option II: A master’s degree from a top 500 university in the QS World University Rankings obtained in the last three years.
- Passing evaluation from academic advisor and required Chinese courses in the first year.
- Must pass the doctoral candidacy qualifying examination before the third year of study.
