Who can Apply?
To qualify for the First Work Experience Pay Programme, you must meet the following minimum requirements:
- Matric Qualification:
- You must have written and passed the National Senior Certificate (NSC) exams in 2023 or 2024 in the Western Cape.
- Age: Between 17 and 24 years old.
- Residency: Be a South African citizen residing in the Western Cape.
- Further Studies: You must not be pursuing further studies in 2025.
- Work Experience: No prior work experience.
- Support and Financial Need:
- You may lack a support network to guide you in your career choices.
- You may face financial constraints.

- Good communication skills (both written and verbal).
