Which Fields are Eligible?

PhD projects are divided into three clusters:

  • CHEM – Organic and medicinal chemistry
  • BIO – Biochemistry, bioinformatics, molecular biology
  • PHYS – Analytical, physical, and computational chemistry

Who can Apply For The Czech Government PhD Scholarship?

  • Applicants must hold an MSc. degree or equivalent in life sciences or related fields.
  • Candidates should be highly motivated, independent, and capable of conducting innovative research.
  • Applicants must apply for enrollment in one of IOCB Prague’s partner universities upon selection.

How are Applicants Selected?

  • Candidates are shortlisted based on academic background, research interests, and alignment with available projects.
  • Shortlisted applicants will be invited for face-to-face interviews on 20 March 2025 at IOCB Prague
