The Global South Scholarship for Peace is a prestigious opportunity for female mid-career professionals working in international peace and security. Sponsored by the U.S. Mission to the United Nations and Other International Organizations in Geneva, this scholarship supports participation in the 25th New Issues in Security Course (NISC), offered by the Geneva Centre for Security Policy (GCSP). The course, running from 05 May – 27 June 2025, is designed to deepen participants’ understanding of global security challenges and enhance their strategic impact. The program provides a multidisciplinary and multicultural environment, equipping participants with the knowledge, skills, and networks necessary to address contemporary security threats and shape a more secure world.

The scholarship is intended for professionals working in the field of international peace and security, including areas such as national security, international relations, human security, conflict resolution, diplomacy, and global governance.
