Who can Apply For The United Nations Foundation Next Generation Fellowship?

Also, to be eligible, applicants must:

  • Be 18–30 years old at the start of the fellowship.
  • Have proven experience in youth advocacy, global governance, and leadership roles.
  • Be familiar with UN processes, SDG implementation, and multilateral frameworks.
  • Demonstrate expertise in writing, campaign execution, and policy advocacy.
  • Possess strong management and mentorship skills to lead diverse teams.
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills for engaging stakeholders.
  • Be proficient in digital tools for advocacy and campaign management.
  • Multilingual proficiency (at least one additional UN language beyond English) is preferred.
