The West Africa Civil Society Institute (WACSI) is dedicated to empowering civil society across the region by enhancing institutional, operational, and knowledge capacities. As a hub for training, research, policy dialogue, and documentation, WACSI plays a crucial role in fostering the growth and effectiveness of civil society organisations (CSOs).
For theย 2025 Research Fellowship, WACSI prioritizesย documenting indigenous knowledge practicesย relevant to civil society. These knowledge systems, beliefs, and innovations, passed down through generations, are invaluable for enhancing the impact and sustainability ofย non-governmental organisations (NGOs) and CSOs.
