What the Programme Entails:
- Online Course (7 April – 18 May 2025): Participants will start with a 6-week online course hosted on the OSCE E-Learning Platform. The course is designed to accommodate the busy schedules of professionals and students. Topics covered will include:
- Conflict prevention and resolution
- Arms control, disarmament, and non-proliferation
- Confidence- and security-building measures
- Counter-terrorism and violent extremism
- Emerging peace and security issues in the OSCE region
- In-Person Event (Autumn 2025):
Successful graduates of the online course will be invited to Vienna for an in-person event, where they will participate in a negotiation and mediation workshop. The event will feature briefings from representatives of international organizations in Vienna, expert discussions, and study visits to key institutions.

Who can Apply?
To apply for the 2025 OSCE Scholarship for Peace and Security, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Be aged between 22 and 32 years at the time of application
- Hold at least a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent)
- Be a national of one of the OSCE participating States or Partners for Co-operation
