The Atlantic Fellows for Health Equity program is designed to bring together the many diverse industries and professions that influence health and well-being including, but not limited to: art, law, business, academia, medicine, government, journalism, social enterprise, research, media, housing, and health care delivery.

Who can Apply for the Atlantic Fellows for Health Equity Fellowship?

Also, applicants must:

• Be early to mid-career professionals
• Be currently engaged in health-related work
• Hold a leadership position or have potential for leadership
• Have a strong commitment to eliminating health disparities
• Be comfortable working in a diverse, multidisciplinary cohort
• Be proficient in English
• Be willing to travel for in-person convenings

How are Applicants Selected?

Fellows will be selected based on:

• Strength of their statement of interest, including past achievements demonstrating a commitment to health equity
• Quality of their project proposal
• Strength of recommendation letters
• Employer support confirmation

Required Documents:

Applicants must submit:

1. Statement of Interest (500 words max) – outlining leadership experience, commitment to health equity, and goals for the fellowship
2. Project Proposal (500 words max) – describing a health equity project they will undertake during the fellowship
3. Employer Support Form – confirming employer’s support for participation
4. Two Letters of Recommendation – at least one from a direct supervisor
5. Curriculum Vitae (CV) or Resume
