The French Embassy in Ghana is offering full scholarships to exceptional Ghanaian students to pursue a Master 1 (M1) or Master 2 (M2) degree in France. The scholarship is based on merit and financial need and aims to enhance academic cooperation and student mobility between Ghana and France.

The scholarship covers various disciplines, including:

• STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics)
• Mathematics
• Information and Communication Science and Technology (ICST)
• Health Sciences
• Environment and Sustainable Development
• Archaeology and Heritage Studies
• Cultural and Creative Industries
• Agriculture and Food Industry
• French as a Foreign Language (FLE)

Who Can Apply?

To be eligible, applicants must:

• Be Ghanaian nationals and reside in Ghana
• Be under 30 years old
• Hold a Bachelor’s degree relevant to the chosen Master’s program
• Have completed National Service
• Have First Class or Second-Class Upper (priority consideration)
• Be fully committed to studying in France for the 2025-2026 and 2026-2027 academic years
• French proficiency is NOT required, except for candidates applying for a Master’s in French as a Foreign Language (FLE)

Selection Process:

• Applications are reviewed based on merit and financial need
• Shortlisted candidates will be interviewed between May and June 2025
• Final selection will be based on academic excellence, motivation, and commitment
