The Masters in Global Nursing Leadership (MGNL) program at the University of Global Health Equity (UGHE) is designed to empower nursing professionals with leadership skills to address global health challenges. The program offers a 100% tuition-only scholarship to successful candidates, covering tuition, housing, meals, and academic-related expenses at UGHE’s Butaro campus.

Who can Apply for the Masters in Global Nursing Leadership Scholarship?
Also, to qualify, applicants must:
- Hold a bachelor’s degree in nursing from an accredited institution.
- Have 5 – 7 years of experience as a registered nurse (RN).
- Be currently employed and possess a current, unrestricted RN license.
- Demonstrate proficiency in English for graduate-level communication.
- Provide a letter from their current employer supporting their graduate study.
How are Applicants Selected?
The selection process includes:
- Online Application Submission – Includes demographic information and a personal statement.
- Application Review – The Admissions Committee evaluates candidates holistically.
- Entrance Examination – Shortlisted candidates take an online exam in mid-May 2025.
- Admissions Interview – Further shortlisted candidates undergo interviews in mid-June 2025.
- Final Decision – Successful candidates are notified in early July 2025.
